IFP Pays Tribute to IFPWB Member
Awarded Lifetime Achievement Award

03 December 2013

At the recent meeting of the IFP's National Council in Ulundi, the IFP President, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi MP, paid tribute to IFP stalwart and National Council member, Mrs Sizakele G Magwaza.

Mrs Magwaza was awarded the Steve Tshwete Lifetime Achievement Award in Boxing in November 2013 in Sun City. She was nominated for the award by Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula for her role in teaching children boxing.

Mrs Magwaza has been a loyal, dedicated IFP and Women's Brigade member all her life. She is a devoted and humble servant of the people of Zululand and her commitment to bettering the lives of ordinary South Africans, especially from her home province of KwaZulu Natal, through sports and other initiatives, is not only commendable but has been unrivalled.

The IFP congratulates Mrs Magwaza on this wonderful achievement. The IFP is proud that one of its own stalwarts' hard work was recognised and honoured at national level.

We call on all South Africans to follow Mrs Magwaza's example by assisting in the social upliftment of their communities.
