President Jacob Zuma Should Voluntarily Agree
to Brief Parliament About Guptagate

06 May 2013

The IFP calls on President Zuma to voluntarily agree to brief Parliament about Guptagate. IFP Spokesperson on International Relations, Mr Ben Skosana, MP, said, "We acknowledge the press conference held by cabinet ministers about Guptagate, and the measures put in place for investigations.

However, as matters stand now, the President as the Head of State and the custodian of the fortunes of the citizens should now show leadership and voluntarily appear before parliament to inform the nation about the whole debacle and assure them, ( the citizens ) of his vigilance on such matters."
