IFP Women's Brigade to March Against Violence Against Women and Children

12 March 2013

The IFP Women's Brigade has announced that the IFP will march against violence against women and children on Friday, 15 March 2013 in Jozini, Kwa-Zulu Natal.

The march will start at Jozini roadside at 12h00pm and will then proceed to Jozini Police Station.

The march is to protest the high incidences of rape, and the brutal killing of women, children and the elderly in KwaZulu Natal and South Africa at large.

Jozini was chosen because every day the community of Jozini suffers under the scourge of violence and rape.

The station commander will receive the memorandum on behalf of the Minister of Women, Children and People with Disabilities, Minister Lulu Xingwana.

We are looking forward to all people of goodwill joining us in this march.
