Madiba Day -
IFP to Honour Madiba Through Prayer and Selfless Service

16 July 2013

The IFP will honour Madiba’s legacy of service to others by lending a helping hand to the Sisters Missionaries of Charity in Durban on his birthday, Thursday 18 July 2013.

The IFP President, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi MP, will lead the Party’s leadership in painting wards, the entrance hall & the ceilings at the mission.

The event will commence with a prayer service in Madiba’s honour at the mission chapel.

Through its own philosophy of self-help and self-reliance, the IFP has fought for the upliftment of poor and underdeveloped communities and vulnerable groups for several decades. We share Nelson Mandela’s values and his dedication to the service of humanity.
