IFP Calls for Prompt Action to Find Children Killer

01 April 2014

The IFP spokesperson on Police, MP Velaphi Ndlovu, calls on police to act immediately to find the driver who killed four children with a tractor in Ndwedwe last week.

“As the IFP, we would like to extend our condolences to the Magwaza family after the loss of their four children”

“It is shocking that the driver killed these four children and then ran away. This man must be found and face the full might of the law. It is concerning that a week after this terrible accident, the man has not yet been apprehended” said Ndlovu.

Ndlovu added, “We also encourage safety on our roads. As the man is alleged to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time, we need to clamp down even more on drunk drivers. It is clear that one does not have to be driving on highways to endanger people’s lives while drunk, as shown by the death of these children”
