IFP Meets with Non Political Organizations and
Local Business Leaders in KwaZulu Natal

05 June 2013

The Inkatha Freedom Party, represented by its Deputy President, Inkosi EM Buthelezi, Mr Narend Singh, MP and Dr Edward Mngadi met with various non-political organizations and local business leaders in KwaZulu to discuss the numerous service delivery failures by the ANC led government and the urgent need for the IFP to assume leadership in the province.

IFP's Mr Narend Singh said, "The meeting was well attended by a broad spectrum of community, civil and business leaders with one clear theme emerging, namely, the complete and utter failure of the ANC to effectively govern the province of KwaZulu and the desperate need for competent, transparent and accountable governance in the Province."

Singh also referred to the findings of the Auditor General on the affairs of the Msundusi Municipality. Special reference was made to the millions of rands lost in managing electricity and water services within the municipality.

"The meeting was hosted by Mr Sunny Gayadin, the founder of NURRA and was concluded with all parties pledging their full support to the Inkatha Freedom Party in the coming elections. The people have clearly had enough of second rate service delivery, rampant corruption and unaffordable price hikes in the Province," concluded Singh.

The Deputy President of the IFP, Inkosi EM Buthelezi, thanked the leaders for their presence and endorsed the need to continue the dialogue.
