The IFP's National Spokesperson and
Secretary-General, Rev. Musa Zondi, today announced that,
"the IFP's Annual General Conference will be held on the
2nd/3rd September 2005, at the eMandleni-Matleng Youth Training
Centre in Ulundi."
"In response to numerous media
enquiries and to other people accustomed to our Conference being
held in July, the National Council took a decision in its
meeting of the 7th/8th July to postpone the holding of
Conference from the 29th/30th July to the 2nd/3rd September
owing to the fact that we could not secure a booking for the
venue for the original date. The next best available set of
dates, considering other activities of the Party, was the
2nd/3rd September 2005."
The Rev. Zondi also announced that the
Party will also be celebrating its 30 years of existence and
accordingly it has also been decided that in order to mark this
event the Party will hold a national anniversary rally to
celebrate this occasion on Sunday, 4th September 2005, at the
Ulundi Stadium, in Ulundi.
The structures of the Party (branches,
constituencies, districts and provinces) are being mailed
correspondence to inform them of the latest developments
regarding the Annual General Conference and the necessary
preparations they have to make I order to send properly
accredited delegates to the Conference.
The media will also be required to be accredited
for the Annual General Conference. Accreditation Forms can be completed
on our website (click here) or
can be emailed on request ([email protected]).
Please note that the deadline for application for media accreditation
