IFP Condemns Murder of ANCís Msibi

13 August 2013

The IFP received with shock and sadness the news of the tragic death of Mr Makhosonke Msibi, an ANC member in Ulundi, over the last weekend. Msibiís death is yet another example that the ANC government has completely lost the war against crime, to an extent that lawlessness is the order of the day.

The IFP urges all law-enforcement agencies to urgently deal with this matter and leave no stone unturned to unravel the mystery surrounding Mr Msibiís murder.

Lastly the IFP strongly condemns any insinuation which links Msibiís murder to Nongoma developments during the last weekend. As a party we have always rejected any use of violence to settle political scores. We want to place on record that anyone found to have been responsible for Msibiís murder must face the full might of the law.

Lastly our hearts are with the Msibi family at this hour of darkness.
