THE VIOLENCE IN KHUTSONG

December 15, 2005

The total power that the ANC enjoys enables them to ignore the needs and aspirations of the people. The voters must now realise that the voting power they gave the ANC in the 2004 election has been turned against them, and as communities and residents of the country, they will not receive what they are entitled to. The ANC, by passing the Constitutional Amendment pertaining to the cross-border municipalities which removes towns to other areas without consulting the people affected in those areas, has proved the point that total power corrupts totally. We now urge the community not to cause destruction in which will affect them at the end of the day and urge the security forces to maintain order, but not to shoot at the community and those who are found to be orchestrating violence must be arrested. We will be voting in March in the Local Government elections, so the people must go all out in their numbers to vote against the ANC, in order to teach them a lesson.
