IFP YOUTH BRIGADE URGES PRESIDENT THABO MBEKI
TO COME TO KWAZULU-NATAL

November 17, 2005

The IFP Youth Brigade has urged President Thabo Mbeki to visit the Province of KwaZulu-Natal to address the people.

Thulasizwe Buthelezi said, "Ever since the beginning of the Jacob Zuma saga, we have noted that President Mbeki has been to every other province except KwaZulu-Natal. What is more disturbing is that as Head of State, President Mbeki has been the object of much ridicule and abuse at the hands of those supporting Mr Jacob Zuma."

"We therefore urge the President to visit this province so that he can gauge for himself whether he still commands the authority his office demands. His continued absence from KwaZulu-Natal is creating a huge credibility crisis," Thulasizwe concluded.
