The IFP extends its warmest welcome to all
first-year pupils as well as all returning students as school gates open
anew across KwaZulu-Natal.
"We say 'welcome' to all first years and
'welcome back' to all returning pupils," said IFP spokesperson and
former KZN MEC for Education, Mrs Faith Gasa, MPP. "The IFP wishes
you all the best in the school year 2005."
Mrs Gasa also said:
"The start of every school year is like the
start of a new farming season. It is crucial for the work to start early
and in earnest."
"We urge all pupils and particularly this
year's matrics to plan their school year carefully and begin their
studies right now."
"The IFP also appeals to teachers and parents
to provide the children with maximum support and care. Remember that the
children depend on you now as much as the future of this country will
one day depend on them."
