IFP Praises SAPS for Offering Reward for
Major-General Tirhani Simon Maswanganyi's Killers

The IFP has praised the South African Police Services (SAPS) for offering a reward of up to
R100 000 for any information leading to the arrests of Major-General Tirhani Simon Maswanganyi's killers. IFP Spokesperson on Police, Mr Velaphi Ndlovu, MP said, "The multi-departmental team of investigators must work around the clock in making sure that the killers are arrested soon. This issue must be fully investigated and no stone should be left unturned. All cases the Major-General was working on must continue unabated."


Ndlovu further stated that, "Strategies and plans used by Major-General Tirhani Simon Maswanganyi must continue to be used. Maswanganyi did an excellent job in fighting crime. He was ruthless regarding corrupt activities, and is an example to his colleagues of an exemplary police officer," concluded Ndlovu.


The IFP would like to send its deepest condolences to Maswanganyi's family, friends and his colleagues.
