Gauteng Police Must Expedite Investigation Into
 Murder of Cllr Ngubane

The Inkatha Freedom Party calls on the police to urgently investigate the death of Ngubane, who was shot and killed last Saturday night (19 July 2014) at Mogale City, Gauteng.

 

IFP National Organiser, Mr Alco Ngobese,  said, “We call on the Gauteng police to expedite the investigation into the murder of IFP Cllr Patrick Ngubane, who was shot dead while trying break up a brawl on Saturday,” said Mr Alco Ngobese.

 

“It has been three days now but no arrests have been made.  The IFP calls on the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) in Gauteng to treat this murder as a priority,” Mr Ngobese said.

 

Details of Cllr Patrick Ngubane's memorial service and funeral are as follows:

 

Memorial Service: Thursday, 24th July 2014 at the Liwesham Hall in Kagiso, starting at 13:00.

 

Funeral: Saturday, the 26th July 2014 at 19141 Mount Everest Street Extension 14, Kagiso, starting at 10h00.
