THE IFP ON ZIMBABWE

July 25, 2005

The IFP has taken note of the South African Government's willingness to throw a life-line to the government of Zimbabwe.

While the IFP recognises that this is done in a spirit of good neighbourliness, it is the people of this country who actually need a life-line from poverty, unemployment, lack of basic infrastructure in areas where the majority of the people of this country live; and, from the failure to supply anti-retrovirals in good numbers to those ravaged by HIV and Aids.
