IFP CELEBRATES LOYALTY

The Deputy-National Chairperson of the IFP Mr Velaphi Ndlovu today announced that the IFP's President, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi will host an informal "get together" to honour those members of parliament at national and provincial level who did not cross the floor during the recent window period.

The function will take place on Sunday, 2nd October 2005 at the Beachwood Mangroves, Riverside in Durban North. It will begin at 11h00 and end at about 14h00.

Mr Ndlovu said:

"It will be an informal function in which the IFP's President will personally express the gratitude of all IFP members to those MP's and MPL's who put democracy before their own personal ambition in the recent window period."

"Councillors from Vryheid are also being invited to attend this function in recognition of their loyalty to the IFP and to all IFP members who voted for them."
