Condolence Motion
Mamaroba Johannes Malahlela
By Velaphi Ndlovu MP

National Assembly: 8 March 2011

The IFP wishes to convey its sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the late advocate Mamaroba Johannes Malahlela, who died in a car accident in February this year. It is always sad when a talented person with so much still to give his family and his country passes on. Mr. Malahlela is a prime example to the youth of this country as to what one can achieve in life despite hardship and other difficulties.

He had a distinguished career as a politician which was preceded by his active involvement in many youth organisations, most notable Mankweng Youth Congress. His versatility as a Member of Parliament made him suitable to serve on various portfolio committees among them communication, Justice and constitutional development, foreign affairs and finance.

The IFP wish to say to the family, friends and colleagues of the late Mr. Malahlela that we know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.

I thank you.
